Haley has managed Scotsman Center since its opening in 2017. Her expertise in equine science, leadership, and youth development foster a barn culture that embodies family-friendly professionalism.
Before settling in Utah, Haley’s childhood spanned several states all over the country; from Louisiana to Maryland and Missouri to Idaho. Her equestrian pursuits began at age 8 with the Pony Club in Missouri and continued in Idaho, where she fell in love with the West. Her love for horses led her to obtain a BS in Equine Science & Management and a Master of Science in Agricultural Extension and Education from Utah State University.
In 2018, she obtained a grant to launch Utah's first 4-H "horseless horse program" in Washington County. Her research evaluated the life skills and knowledge youth gained from the program. This was later published in the Journal of Human Sciences and Extension in 2023.
Outside of Scotsman Center, Haley serves as the Morgan County Fair Coordinator and as a coach on the Morgan Mountain Biking Team. She enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and of course-- horses.
